PADDY FIELDS: Down below, in the valley are paddy fields that again adds yet another uniqueness to this area. These paddy fields are perhaps the rarest at this very high altitude. Guests have a definite advantage, because they get to see and experience a variety, such as tea plantations, cardamom plantations and paddy fields. Bison valley village is one of the oldest migrant villages of the High Ranges. It depicts a different culture and has a totally different story to tell compared to Munnar’s colonial plantation culture. On a broader picture, the fact is that a guest gets to enjoy all these special places if he or she spent a couple of days at SpiceTree.
DOLMENS: Just to the right of the property, a guest can take a 15 minutes stroll and find Dolmens on a large area of rocky terrain which are special to this area. These dolmens are of great historic value; the remnants of an ancient tribe, which stand as monuments.
